We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as necessary to operate the service:

• Chefs see the customer's name, order details, and delivery zone (not full address)
• Couriers see the pick-up address (chef location) and delivery address
• Payment processors (certified third parties) handle card transactions — Duemo does not store full card numbers
• Identity verification providers may process government ID for chef and courier onboarding
• Legal authorities if required by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan

Customer App: Location access is optional and used only to suggest nearby chefs and to share your approximate location with the courier during active delivery. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.

Courier App: Couriers must enable precise GPS location while an active delivery is in progress. This data is used to coordinate the delivery and display estimated arrival time to the customer. Location is not tracked outside of active delivery sessions.

• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data (see Account Deletion)

• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time

8. Push Notifications

We send push notifications about order status, delivery updates, and promotions. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings. This will not affect your ability to use the app or view order status within the app.

9. Cookies & Device Identifiers

The Duemo website uses functional cookies necessary for session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our mobile apps use device identifiers (such as FCM tokens) solely to deliver push notifications. These are not shared with advertising networks.

10. Children's Privacy

Duemo is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@duemo.az for immediate removal.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of Duemo after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Duemo mobile applications and website operated by "DUEMO" MMC. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Duemo

Duemo is a marketplace platform connecting home chefs, couriers, and customers for home-cooked food delivery in Baku, Azerbaijan. All food is prepared by registered independent home chefs who comply with Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) requirements.

2. Account Registration

To use Duemo, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us immediately at hello@duemo.ai of any unauthorized use
• Be at least 13 years of age to register an account

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are binding once confirmed. Payment is processed securely through certified payment processors. Duemo does not store card data on its servers.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders may be cancelled within 5 minutes of placement and before the chef begins preparation
• Once preparation has begun, cancellation is not possible
• For quality issues or incorrect orders, contact us within 2 hours of delivery at hello@duemo.ai
• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days

5. Food Safety

All chefs on Duemo operate in compliance with the applicable food safety regulations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and AFSA requirements. Duemo reserves the right to remove any chef who fails to meet safety standards. Users with food allergies must contact the chef directly through the app before ordering.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to disrupt, interfere with, or exploit the platform
• Engage in fraudulent orders, chargebacks, or payment disputes without legitimate grounds
• Harass, threaten, or abuse chefs, couriers, or other users
• Circumvent safety, verification, or review systems

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Duemo platform — including the Duemo name, logomark, design, text, and software — is the property of "DUEMO" MMC and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Duemo acts as an intermediary marketplace. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of food prepared by independent chefs beyond our vetting and compliance requirements. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the relevant order.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing privacy@duemo.az. See the Account Deletion section below for details on data handling.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of Duemo after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Any disputes shall be submitted first to good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, to the competent courts of Baku, Azerbaijan.

Contact us at hello@duemo.ai within 2 hours of receiving your delivery. Include your order number and a description of the issue. Photos are helpful.

How do I delete my account?

I have a food allergy. What should I do?
Contact the chef directly through the app's in-app messaging before placing your order. Duemo chefs are required to disclose allergen information upon request.

How do I apply to cook or deliver for Duemo?
